Beef and Broccoli Alfredo {THM : S Meal}

Our very first full day of Trim Healthy Mama Meals brought their Beef and Broccoli Alfredo to our table.


It couldn’t have come on a better day. We had spent literal hours shopping to stock our pantry with everything we would need, and I was exhausted. I certainly didn’t want a difficult dish to make, plus i was ready for a good hearty meal.


The book tells you to stick with a jarred Alfredo sauce that has only 2 grams of carbs or less per serving. I found this…..


it had three grams per serving, and I just couldn’t let the bacon get away for one measly carb!


This was an awesome meal that I am certain will making a regular appearance on our table! Besides the addition of bacon in the sauce, I added some green onions into the beef when browning it, and served it all over cauli-rice. Fabulous!

Beef and Broccoli Alfredo {THM : S Meal}

Yield: 4-5 servings


  • 1 lb lean ground beef (93/7)
  • 1 bunch broccoli cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce with bacon
  • 1 c water
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Parmesan cheese


  1. brown beef in coconut oil, along with onions
  2. add broccoli and cover to steam to crisp/tender
  3. add jar of sauce and water and stir to coat
  4. serve over cauli rice
  5. garnish with some freshly shredded Parmesan
